£4,675.00 up to £7,590.00 per week
Tucked away in a quiet spot on the grand Frampton Court Estate, The Cyder House is perfect for countryside escapes with friends and family. The beautifully furnished farmhouse sleeps up to 16 guests with spacious living areas, ideal for large groups whether you’re hosting a celebration or a relaxed family get-together. It also has an impressive outdoor space where you can relax in the Scandinavian style wood-fired hot tub, get a competition going on the boules court or in the games barn or sit with a book in the private walled garden. It’s also just a short walk to the Estate’s lake, on to the local village and then out into the sweeping Gloucestershire countryside. In-keeping with the traditional farmhouse style of the building, the kitchen is the heart of the house. It has plenty of rustic charm with exposed wooden beams and shaker style cabinetry and it is equipped with everything you’ll need to cater for large groups. Next door, you’ll find the dining room where everyone can gather around the hand-made oak dining table while a fire crackles away merrily in the marble fireplace. After dinner, move on through to the living room, sink into one of the big comfy sofas and put a film on the 55” TV or get a board game going. If you’re looking for a bit of peace and quiet, choose a book from the well stocked shelves and sneak off to the snug. If the little ones need a bit of entertainment, there’s also a playroom just off the living room where they’ll find costumes for dressing up, games and books. There are six bedrooms, each beautifully furnished in its own individual style and given a name to match. In ‘Rumble Jumble’ you’ll find bold patterns on the vintage fabrics and the hand-painted Mexican tiles in the ensuite. ‘Green Underleaf’ features calming botanical details in the hand-painted light fitting and the embroidered headboard while ‘Maiden’s Blush’ is bursting with colour with an Indian wall-hanging above the bed. Under the eaves of the house, ‘Gypsy Red’ is a dormitory-style bedroom with four cabin beds which is perfect for the kids. The Cyder House is located in the Gloucestershire countryside with the Cotswolds on one side and the River Severn winding past on the other. Head out into the countryside for long walks via pretty Cotswold villages and market towns. Hop in the car and it's just half an hour to Westonbirt Arboretum, home to 2,500 species of trees, or head up to Gloucester and Cheltenham for fantastic restaurants and great shopping.
