Tucked away in enchanting woodland on a country estate in Gloucestershire, this stylish treehouse offers couples a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. Accessed via a long boardwalk through the evergreen laurel trees and with stunning views of the surrounding countryside, this is the perfect spot to reconnect with nature. The estate is run with a focus on rewilding and regenerative farming and this ethos is reflected in the design of the treehouse. Sustainable materials have been used and its construction caused minimal damage to the surrounding forest. You'll be able to switch off from the outside world and relax surrounded by the sights and sounds of the tree canopy, perhaps from the comfort of the copper bathtub out on the deck. Inside, is a cosy open-plan living space, fully-equipped for days relaxing amongst the trees. There's a sleek kitchen area with everything you'll need to rustle up delicious meals, from an induction hob to a Nespresso machine. You enjoy a relaxed breakfast at the seating area inside or out on the deck overlooking the wild wetlands, seeing if you can spot some of the local wildlife. In the evenings, the living space becomes a cosy hideaway, with a fire crackling away in the wood burning stove and comfy chairs to snuggle up in while you play board games. The bedroom is a relaxing space, with a super-king size handmade bed with an organic mattress promising a restful night's sleep. Wake up to the sound of the birds in the trees around you and enjoy a cup of tea in bed while taking in the views through the windows. Enjoy a refreshing shower in the stylish bathroom complete with toiletries made from natural oils and plant extracts, before snuggling up in one of the soft bathrobes. Head out onto the large deck where you'll find an outdoor sofa and some chairs to lounge in. This is also where you'll find the beautiful William and Holland tin and copper bath. The perfect spot to enjoy a long soak as the sun sets over the countryside around you. If you can tear yourselves away from your peaceful retreat, there's plenty to do on the estate and in the surrounding area. Go for a walk around the estate and discover the team's rewilding efforts or book in for a foraging session to learn about the local flora and fauna. There's a swimming club located at Madam's Pond on the estate at certain times of the year, where you can take a refreshing dip surrounded by nature. Venture a little further and head to Gloucester for the day to explore the stunning cathedral or head to the medieval Berkeley Castle to learn more about the area's history. Wine enthusiasts can explore the local vineyards, such as Three Choirs Vineyard which is one of the oldest in the country. For some more outdoor activities, head to the Cotswold Country Park and Beach, the largest inland sandy beach in the country, where you'll find plenty of watersports on offer.
