THE HIGHLIGHTS
This is a marvellously unique property that was built by an artist 20 years ago.
Located right on the edge of a river you can sit with a cup of tea and watch as wild ducks swim by.
Comfy, stylish hut with sofas that sit around a log burner as well as two private decks outside.
Stay toasty around the firepit with a glass of wine as the stars shine up above. Comfy bed with windows on three sides allows you to wake up to a lovely view of your surroundings.
Situated in the extensive and delightful grounds of Dod Mill which you can explore as you wish.
Sat in the Scottish Borders close to the boundary with the Lothians and the city of Edinburgh is within driving distance.

YOU SHOULD KNOW
The property does not have a shower, but guests are given access to a 'Wash Room' that has a shower and is shared by guests of a few other properties.
There is no conventional oven, but you can cook using the log burner which has an in-built oven and stove top.
You have a cool box, but no fridge.
There is a great space outside the Fishing Hut for an additional tent. So families are welcome to bring a tent for older children to sleep in.
This means that the property can sleep up to 6 guests between the Fishing Hut and an additional tent. Enquire for more information.

This flat-roofed, circular-fronted timber lodge blends beautifully with its natural setting, surrounded by native grasses, meadow and wild flowers and overlooking the breath-taking Tweed Valley.
