Tucked away amidst a serene plum orchard in the Scottish Borders, this idyllic cabin is tailor-made for individuals and couples seeking tranquillity and peace. With panoramic vistas of verdant landscapes, guests can relish mesmerising sunrises and sunsets over undulating hills while unwinding in the Scandinavian-inspired wood-fired hot tub. As you approach, you’ll be delighted by the cabin's exterior, which reflects meticulous attention to detail. You’ll spot the secluded 'sitooterie' veranda, which encourages you to savour the scenery, whether lounging in a hanging chair with a morning cuppa or stargazing from the hot tub under the night sky. Once you enter the cabin, you’ll see that this attention to detail continues inside. The cabin provides you and your loved one with a bright and spacious ambiance, with beautiful green walls and a sleek and stylish kitchen at one end. The space also features big windows which perfectly frame the country views and fill the living area with natural light. Get comfy on the sofa next to the woodburner and enjoy the view with a nice glass of wine or put your feet up and watch a movie on the smart TV as the flames flicker in the burner keeping you toasty and warm. The open plan living area also has the stylish kitchen, which features all the amenities you’ll need to prepare meals during your stay. Dine on the quaint table for two opposite the kitchen or walk through the glass sliding doors and dine alfresco in the sunshine, breathing in the fresh country air. The bedroom is a calming space with yet more incredible views and features a plush double bed that is dressed in Egyptian cotton linens to ensure you enjoy a restful night’s sleep. The invigorating shower in the modern bathroom provides respite after a day's adventure exploring the farm or wandering the nearby beaches. Other great touches in the cabin include complimentary WiFi and underfloor heating to keep toes toasty. You’ll also have a selection of board games and books at your disposal, as well as the aforementioned hot tub where you can spend hours in luxury. When it comes to filling your days you may just want to sit in the hanging chair on the veranda and tuck into a good book or wander the surrounding farm. However, if you venture out you’re situated on the edge of the village of Gavinton in the heart of Berwickshire. You may also wish to wander around the farm on which you're staying. Take a nature-filled wander around the surrounding land and keep your eyes of open for their resident barn owls. There are also tawny owls, yellow hammers, herons, hares and deer plus the farm's pigs, Romney sheep and hens. If you fancy enjoying a scenic walk and some farm animal and wildlife spotting you can enjoy a hike around West Bastlebog's organic land, hiking in the Lammermuirs or Cheviots. You may also want to spend some time relaxing on some of the nearby beaches or taking in the sights on some rugged coastal walks. There are also some great museums and stately homes to visit in Duns and Kelso and some great fishing opportunities on the Tweed.
