Tucked away in a secluded valley close to the spectacular North Devon Heritage coast, Old Barn is a beautifully converted farm building that now offers plenty of comfort and charm for groups of friends and family looking to escape to the countryside. It's set on a 17-acre private estate with lots of exploring to do along grassy trails, country lanes and pretty streams. Enjoy relaxing days at the nearby beaches or stride off along the South West Coast Path for breathtaking views before a dip in your private hot tub or the estate's heated indoor swimming pool. Old Barn was once Coulscott Farm's main barn and has been thoughtfully converted to provide contemporary holiday accommodation while retaining its original rustic charm. Step inside and you'll find yourselves in an impressive living area with vaulted wood ceilings that reach right to the top of the barn's three levels. Staircases and galleries lead up to the bedrooms on the floors above while comfy sofas invite you to relax and unwind in front of the log-burning fire. Move through to the fully-equipped kitchen, complete with an Aga, coffee machine and large dining table where you can enjoy delicious meals together. After dinner, get a board game going in front of the fire or head up to the cosy snug to select a book from the shelves and curl up on the sofa. You'll find five bedrooms across the barn's three levels, providing plenty of space and flexibility for groups. Next to a sunroom on the ground floor, is a bedroom with a super-king size bed and ensuite bathroom, perfect for those who prefer not to navigate a flight of stairs. Head up to the first floor and you'll find a king size room with a balcony overlooking the valley. There's also a twin room and a family bathroom, a great set-up for families with children. The main bedroom is also on this floor with an ensuite and doors that open onto the deck, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee with views of the surrounding countryside. Rustle up some lunch on the BBQ, go for a dip in the hot tub or just lie back and relax on one of the sun loungers, all while enjoying the stunning views of the estate's valley. In the summer months, you'll be able to stay out late into the evening, watching the sunset and perhaps doing a bit of stargazing from the comfort of the hot tub. During your stay you will be nestled in a secluded valley, surrounded by 17 acres of picturesque grounds with lots of great things to see and do. Kids will love the indoor games room that features table football and table tennis, and the specialised soft play area caters to children under five, providing a secure and enjoyable space.
