A paradise for nature lovers and bird watchers, the estuary is managed by the RSPB, and as the first town in Cornwall to be awarded "Walkers Are Welcome" status, its footpaths are well maintained and a pleasure to explore. St Ives and the Tate Gallery is within 6 miles, as well as a huge variety of Cornish villages nearby.
