£190.00 up to £275.00 per night
Wilder Retreats is home to six contemporary A-frame cabins set in the midst of a 24-acre re-wilding project with views of the Pembrokeshire coastline. The cabins’ floor-to-ceiling windows look out over land where more than 3,000 trees have been planted, wildflower meadows are being cultivated and large areas of wetlands created. As a result, you’ll be surrounded by a rich array of flora and fauna that feels a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This is the perfect spot for couples or friends to slow down the pace and relax while reconnecting with nature. Each of the cabins is positioned with a seven-metre glass front facing west out to St Brides Bay on the Pembrokeshire coast. You’ll be able to enjoy the view and soak up the stunning sunsets whether you’re tucked up in bed, relaxing in front of the log burner or preparing dinner in the kitchen. Thanks to these huge windows and the open plan design, your cabin will feel bright and spacious during the day. You’ll find everything you need in the fully-equipped kitchen to rustle up favourite meals and the dining table is set in prime position for enjoying the scenery while you eat. As the evening draws in, soft lighting and a fire crackling away in the log burner will transform the space into a cosy hideaway, inviting you to snuggle up on the sofa and choose a board game to play. The luxurious king size bed is located at the top of the spiral staircase on the mezzanine level. This elevated position offers even more spectacular views through the cabin’s glass front. You’ll find a rainfall shower in the spacious bathroom for a rejuvenating shower after a trip to the beach. You might also fancy a dip in the private wood-fired hot tub where you can relax while surrounded by nature. On warmer days, step out onto your private patio and enjoy the peace and quiet while relaxing on the comfortable lounging furniture. When it’s time for lunch, prepare yourselves a picnic in the kitchen and take this out to the lawn area and soak up the sunshine. The cabins are perfectly located for exploring the spectacular Pembrokeshire coastline with the nearest beaches less than 10 minutes away by car. Relax on the sandy shores or head to the vibrant Milford Marina where you’ll find restaurants and bars that overlook the water. There are also plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities from paddleboarding and kayaking to coasteering and rock climbing. To learn a bit more about this beautiful part of Wales, head a little further along the coast to the picturesque town of Tenby or historic St. Davids.
