Sitting on the grounds of Sussex's Honeybridge Estate, just on the edge of the South Downs National Park, is The Cottage. A truly beautiful and historic property, The Cottage's exterior showcases its Tudor heritage, as rose bushes line the walls of the original exposed oak beams. The interior is equally as impressive, with period features - such as timber beams, vaulted ceilings, and an inglenook fireplace - being perfectly complimented by a combination of antique furniture, varied artwork, and modern conveniences. The grounds of the estate are over 17-acres and it has numerous activities such as tennis, croquet, and fishing on offer to keep guests occupied, ensuring that leisure and comfort are catered to in equal measure. There is a spacious, open planned living and dining area with a large set of windows which bathe the room in light and offer gorgeous views out over the garden. The country kitchen is fully equipped and also has ample seating, making for the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast with your loved ones. The Cottage can comfortably accommodate eight guests (five adults and three children). There are three bedrooms, each sitting beneath timber framed, vaulted ceilings. This wonderful cottage is set amongst the rolling hills of the South Downs National Park, overlooking a peaceful wildflower meadow that gives the property its name. The home is the perfect place to relax and recharge with loved ones, away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Designed for comfort, you’ll find everything you could need for an unforgettable getaway and plenty of space for everyone to unwind. You’ll also have the added luxury of a hot tub on a private deck, where you can bathe in the bubbles and take in the glorious view. You might even catch a glimpse of deer roaming or owls hunting at dusk! The house has been expertly designed to match the idyllic countryside, with a timber-clad exterior and green roof that extends the meadow up to the sky. Inside is just as impressive, lovingly finished with stylish décor, bespoke furniture and hand-painted murals. At the heart of the home is the open-plan living space, with a high vaulted ceiling and large windows that provide lovely views. Deep leather sofas are set around a log burning stove and Smart TV, ideal for cosy winter evenings and movie nights. The kitchen is a real cook’s dream, kitted out with modern appliances and all the cookware, utensils and crockery needed to prepare and enjoy a delicious meal. Meadow Hide has two bedrooms, one master bedroom with a king size bed and another bedroom with a super-king size bed that can be converted into two singles if needed.
