Tall Trees Glamping

£550.00 per week

Tall Trees Glamping is home to four luxurious safari lodges in Somerset. Sleeping up to six people (plus two dogs), the lodges are perfectly positioned in a large meadow with trees, wild flowers and an orchard. Whether you dream of long summer evenings relaxing on your veranda or cosy nights in front of the wood burning stove, these beautiful lodges offer up a memorable holiday in the most glorious of surroundings. Wonderfully located on the edge of the Somerset Levels, these stunning lodges have all the perfect ingredients for a restful holiday. Inside, the open plan living, dining and kitchen area is as charming as it is welcoming. The living room has a stylish wood burner, a well-stocked log basket and a cosy sofa. Settle down in front of the fire and delve into the pile of board games that are ready and waiting. The fully-equipped kitchen is a world away from regular camp cooking. With a mains supplied sink, fridge, hob and oven it’s perfectly set up for the most eager of chefs. And, for those not quite so eager, the thoughtful owners can provide prepared homemade meals. The large dining table comfortably seats six people and is a great place for your morning cuppa - or a serious game of snakes and ladders. The lodge sleeps up to six people in a king bedroom, double cabin room and twin bedroom. With quality mattresses, soft white Egyptian cotton bedding and thick duvets they are all wonderfully cosy. Simply styled with feature lighting and beautiful textiles, the bedrooms are all delightfully relaxing. The stylish bathroom has a shower, flushing toilet, basin, heated towel rail and plenty of hot water. And fluffy white towels and complimentary toiletries all come as standard. Outside, you have a handsome decked veranda complete with comfortable seating and an outdoor light. And in front of your lodge is a cast iron BBQ and picnic bench - perfect for a spot of al fresco dining or late night marshmallow toasting. Onsite, there is a shop that stocks home cooked meals and all the basics. The Somerset levels is a great place for walking, cycling and birdwatching. And the legendary market town of Glastonbury and the pretty city of Wells are both within easy driving distance. For any cider lovers, a visit to Mugley Cider Farm and Somerset Cider Brandy Company is almost compulsory.
