Beudy Banc Cabans

£82.50 up to £125.00 per nights
Set on a family farm in the beautiful countryside of mid-Wales, you’ll find these six unique architect-designed cabins. They have been built using eco-conscious materials, some upcycled from the farm and are off-grid, using wind and solar for power. All of the cabins have spectacular views across the Dyfi Valley and out to the Cambrian mountains beyond and offer a peaceful escape from the busy day-to-day. You’ll be able to set off out into the countryside on foot or by bike right from your front door and with the coast and Snowdonia National Park close by, there’s plenty more to see and do. After a day exploring these stunning landscapes, snuggle up in your cabin in front of the wood-burning stove and watch the sunset over the valley. Two of the cabins are perfect for couples with cosy interiors and big windows so you can enjoy the view. Caban Clifa is set by the side of a small lake and you can sit out on the deck and watch the wildlife or even go for a quick dip if you’re feeling brave. Caban Coch has been created from an old hay trailer and you’ll find plenty of rustic charm inside with a whole array of vintage finds furnishing the interior. Caban Crwn and Caban Copa are both a little larger with space to accommodate up to three guests. Caban Crwn has a striking cylindrical design and you’ll find a cosy mezzanine level inside with great views that you can enjoy from the comfort of your bed. Caban Copa has been named after the Welsh for summit due to its high curved tin roof. Cosy and quirky on the inside, it has a deck outside, perfectly positioned for enjoying the scenery. If you need room for an extra person, Caban Cader and Caban Cadno can both accommodate up to four. Caban Cader has been built using a collection of found materials and objects, adding plenty of charm to the inside and outside of the cabin and there are stunning views from the large deck at the front. Caban Cadno is a curved structure that has a more contemporary feel to the interior with a more minimalist style and big sliding doors out onto the deck. The closest town is the charming Machynlleth which is just five miles away and has a popular market on Wednesdays where you can pick up some local treats. You’ll also find some lovely independent shops, cafes and pubs here as well as a supermarket for stocking up on supplies. After a quick trip to the shops, pack yourselves a picnic and head out into the countryside. You’ll be spoilt for choice with rolling hills, coastal paths and mountain peaks within easy reach, all offering stunning views along the way. If you prefer to explore on two wheels, there are lots of mountain biking trails in the area, some starting on the farm itself and heading to the Dyfi Forest.
