£285.00 up to £385.00 per night

Sitting by the edge of a stunning, mountain-fringed loch and nestled amongst a wildlife-packed forest, this stunning timber and glass architect-designed home promises its visitors luxury, style and comfort in the most magnificent location. Its dark wooden and glass facade and sculptural-form ensures it sits in harmony with the natural surroundings. And with its balcony, plethora of picture windows and fab outdoor areas, guests are given every opportunity to make the most of the environment, whatever the time of year, or time of day. The interior has been thoughtfully arranged as an 'upside-down house'. The welcoming entrance area offers lots of benches and hooks for leaving outdoor gear, while a staircase leads upstairs to the living area. But the ground floor is dedicated to the two cosy bedrooms, an ensuite master and a twin room which is just footsteps from a luxurious shower room and toilet. Both bedrooms are decorated in clean, neutral tones with the luxurious additions of sheepskin rugs and Scottish wool blankets which offer a warm, homely touch. Upstairs guests discover the open plan living area which boasts a luxurious velvet sofa which sits opposite patio doors next to the wood burner - what better place to snuggle after a day exploring? On sunny mornings, pull open the magnificent panoramic patio doors onto the wonderful balcony where you can enjoy coffee on the stylish outdoor furniture and take-in the breathtaking views across the Loch to the snow capped Menteith Hills beyond. A modern kitchen has all the conveniences required for hassle-free cooking. A wooden Scandi-style dining table sits by another large window which boasts a window seat - perfect for curling up with a good book while the weather rolls in over the loch. For the warmer months, there are two lovely gardens. The first is a grassy lawn which rolls down to the water's edge and the beach. Paddle, fish, or just sit and daydream while taking in the clear air and beautiful views. At the back of the house there is a further garden area fringed with silver-birch trees. Toast marshmallows under the stars over the fire pit or take a relaxing dip in the hot tub. Visitors would be forgiven for never leaving this stunning property but there is plenty to do in the surrounding area. Adventurers will love the hiking, biking and the array of watersports on offer, historians will want to check out the castles at Doune and Stirling, and everyone will want to finish the day at The Lade Inn for pints of ale and hearty fare enjoyed besides a roaring fire.
