Built in 2019, Kilchuimen House is a beautiful loch-side property that offers up incredible views in the most luxurious of surroundings. With four king-size rooms and large open-plan living, there’s plenty of room for that special group gathering. Indulge in the Highland activities on your doorstep, or simply sit and enjoy that breathtaking view. With open-plan living and impeccable attention to detail, Kilchuimen House is wonderfully welcoming and luxuriously comfortable. Taking in views over Loch Ness, the main living area boasts a double-sided log burning stove, large comfortable sofas, a Smart TV and floor to ceiling glass doors that open on to a beautiful patio. To the other side of the woodburner is the pretty dining area, with a large table that easily seats eight and local artwork on the wall. Here you can dine in style with lake and glen views as your backdrop. The well-equipped kitchen is stunning - with country kitchen units and plenty of worktop space. With an electric cooker, induction hob, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, and kettle, you’ll find all you need to cook up a storm. The bedrooms are on the ground and first floor. With two twin/king-doubles on the ground floor and two king-doubles (one ensuite) on the first floor. All are luxuriously dressed with neutral colour palettes, crisp white linen and beautiful textiles. And all take in wonderful views - either out over the garden or the Loch. The first floor also has a further seating area - with plush velvet sofas, double height glass doors and a glass-fronted balcony taking in the most gorgeous lochside views, it’s a fabulous place to while away an afternoon. With one ensuite, a family bathroom and a further shower room and WC, there are plenty of bathrooms to go round. All are sparkling clean and come with complimentary toiletries from Highland Aromatics in Inverness. To the front and side of the house is a fully-enclosed garden. With patio furniture and a charcoal BBQ - it’s the ideal place for a spot of al-fresco dining or drinks at sunset. Located just a short walk from the bustling village of Fort Augustus, there’s plenty of places to eat out if you fancy a night off from cooking. Fill your days with Highland adventures - from hill walking, climbing and mountain biking to whitewater rafting. For those with gentler adventures in mind, there’s still plenty to see - from castles to the stunning West Scotland coastline.
