These two award-winning, luxury snugs offer couples an idyllic break in the beautiful Fife countryside. Situated on a scenic spot you can wake from a peaceful night’s sleep and enjoy a morning coffee as you gaze out at your picturesque surroundings. Both of these supremely-comfy “Armadilla” snugs offer a luxurious hot tub where you can relax and unwind taking in the views of the pretty River Tay. Each snug sits next to a field that sometimes contains some of the “World’s Cutest Sheep”, a flock of Swiss Valais Blacknose sheep that you can watch as you enjoy a nice warm cup of tea. Guests at each snug are also provided with a big, comfy super-king size bed fitted with luxury cotton linen. At the head of the bed is a round window that offers idyllic views of the River tay. Both interiors match that of a luxury hotel room and they both have smart TVs with Netflix, meaning you can settle in for a box set marathon or movie night with your loved one. There’s also a bluetooth sound system, mood lighting, wireless phone chargers, WiFi and blackout blinds. Stepping outside, each of the snugs has a fire pit where you can toast marshmallows under the stars and BBQs for you to whip up some locally sourced ingredients to enjoy alfresco in the summer sunshine. However, if you did want to venture out to eat, you’ll be pleased to know there are a number of amazing restaurants in the area that offer a range of fine dining and pub-style food. When it comes to mealtimes, there are numerous local inns, tavern, cafes and restaurants in the area and there are also a number of takeaways that can deliver direct to your snug. Breakfast is also included in your stay and is made using using beautiful, locally sourced products. Also outside each hut sits the private hot tub, the ultimate in luxury and relaxation. Open a bottle of something delicious and settle in for a soak as you watch the sunset. Back inside, each snug has an ensuite wetroom that has chrome and ceramic fittings, a mirror, a WC and a shower. The snugs also feature energy-efficient climate control that provides heating and cooling, and there’s also MVHR and HEPA filtration as standard to protect hay fever and allergy sufferers. The snugs also feature Dualit kettles, Nespresso coffee machines, tea and coffee making facilities and a silent fridge. If you can tear yourself away from your snug, there’s lots to see and do in the area. You'll be delighted to know that you're a stone's throw from The Fife Coastal Path, Perth, Dundee and university town of St Andrews. You’re also close to the friendly rural town of Newburgh on the edge of the River Tay in north east Fife. This historic town has links to Knights of the Round Table, William Wallace and the Royals, as well as being the home of Lindores Abbey, the spiritual home of Scotch Whisky. The surrounding area is also extremely picturesque, with miles upon miles of beautiful countryside and the River Tay just waiting to be explored.

Set on the beautiful Charleton Estate, overlooking the Firth of Forth and nestled among rolling hills and lush woodland, this eco-lodge in Scotland offers a sustainable and peaceful retreat. Built from beautiful Scottish Larchwood, reclaimed slate and a sedum roof, it blends in with the surrounding rugged landscapes. After a day exploring the stunning coastline or a round of golf on the challenging Charleton Golf Course on your doorstep, soak up the views while relaxing in your outdoor hot tub as a fire crackles away in the open fireplace on the outside deck. Inside, you'll find a large, contemporary living space with a corner sofa to snuggle up on after a long walk exploring the estate. Designed with the environment in mind, the lodge is heated using air-source heat pumps, with underfloor heating and a wood-burning stove to keep you cosy whatever the weather outside. There's a fully-equipped kitchen with everything you'll need to rustle up the family favourites or try your hand at cooking up some local Scottish treats. After dinner, light the wood-burning hot tub and get a fire going in the outdoor fireplace and watch the evening draw in over the Firth of Forth. There are three bedrooms, two located on the ground floor and one up in the large mezzanine space. All of the bedrooms can be set up either as double beds or as twin beds, depending on your preferences, offering plenty of flexibility for different groups. There's plenty to see and do in the area and the location is perfect for nature lovers and keen golfers. The 18-hole course on the estate provides a challenge while enjoying the stunning sea views. The famous St. Andrews is also just 20 minutes away with a handful of other excellent courses within a short drive. If you'd rather explore the spectacular natural surroundings, head out on a boat trip to the Isle of May. Here, you'll find a nature reserve for puffins, guillemots, seals and many other coastal wildlife species. There are also walking trails right from the front door that will take you through enchanting woodland and along the rugged coastline, or you can head down to the village of Elie where you'll find some amazing watersports on offer.
