Perched on the banks of Loch Fyne in West Scotland, Hazelbank is a lovely family house packed with charm and elegance. Emerging from the trees and with the rugged Scottish landscape rising up behind it, the secluded location makes it perfect for an escape well away from the hustle and bustle. When you arrive, explore the house and the beautiful garden and you'll discover the path to your own private beach with a pier area complete with a BBQ and stunning views over the water. Start the day with a refreshing morning swim or, if that’s not your thing, watch from the safety of the private pier with a coffee before heading back up to the house to rustle up breakfast. The kitchen is fully-equipped with everything you’ll need to whip up delicious meals after busy days exploring the loch and day trips out to the islands beyond. This leads through to a large boot room and an additional cloakroom with plenty of space for storing and washing your outdoor gear. In the evenings, snuggle up in the comfy lounge with a fire going in the wood burning stove and enjoy the fantastic views of the sunset over the loch from the comfort of the sofa. When it’s time for bed, there are five beautifully furnished bedrooms upstairs. There are two main bedrooms with super-king size beds which share a lovely ensuite bathroom with a free-standing bath. There are two more double rooms, one with a super-king size bed and the other with a king size bed, as well as a twin room. These rooms share a family bathroom where you’ll find fluffy towels and White Company Seychelles toiletries waiting for you. Outside, you’ll find the garden has been designed to help you make the most of the glorious scenery. You’re surrounded by plants and trees with plenty of comfy spots to sit and enjoy the view across the water. The landscape is stunning at all times of the year whether you’d prefer to enjoy the vibrant colours in the height of summer or watch the mist rising from the loch on a crisp winter’s morning. The private beach area is the perfect place to soak it all up with outdoor furniture, a BBQ and a firepit. There’s plenty to do in the area, especially if you’re looking to make the most of the spectacular natural surroundings. There are plenty of outdoor activities right on your doorstep, from swimming, kayaking and paddleboarding on the loch to long walks and bike rides in the surrounding countryside. There are also castles to explore, distilleries and breweries to visit and you can take boat trips from several points exploring Loch Fyne and out to the islands beyond.

French doors open off this room onto a substantial timber deck which runs along the front of the house. This expansive platform is a wonderful place to sit on the rattan all-weather furniture, and take in the long, lingering sunsets over the loch, as you drink a glass of wine and unwind with your guests after a long day of hiking or swimming. There is also a barbecue, should you feel like cooking up an al fresco meal to enjoy on the decking or the substantial grounds. Back inside, this floor also contains a stunning conservatory, with a state-of-the-art hot tub which enjoys panoramic views out over the loch. Next door, a high-end modern kitchen comes with a fridge-freezer, microwave and dishwasher, in addition to a high-end oven and hob, to ensure that a party of eight can eat well every night, and not worry about the washing up. An airy, light-filled dining room seats eight people in style. You’ll also find a cloakroom, a utility room and a loo on this floor. Upstairs, all three bedrooms benefit are en-suite, meaning there won’t be a rush on the bathroom in the morning.
