Vivianna At Treeopia
- 0
£434.50 per night
From the outside, these treehouses look as though they might have sprouted from the woodland itself. Inside, they're all luxury. Curved walls, a spiral staircase and opulent interiors surround the living centrepiece of an ash tree, a project which sprung from the imaginations of a designer and a renowned cabinet maker. A short wander down into the dell brings you to a covered hot tub and a fire bowl, both of which look out over your ethereal surroundings. Listen to the gentle babble of waterfalls and streams, and watch for the twinkling stars emerge, as you wonder if you've somehow found yourself in a fairytale.Vivianna is a place of gasps and revelations. As you approach, you see the living ash tree that the treehouse is built around soaring out through the roof. Swinging open the arched door brings you into the opulent living area, where the trunk rises past two circular sofas and a fully equipped kitchen which flows round the curved walls and seems to float above the floor. Then you’ll find the welcome hamper, packed full of local produce, from artisan chocolate to honey and herbal teas, before you dash off to discover the super king-sized bed and the bathroom with its indulgent rainfall shower. Outside, it gets even better, with a covered hot tub and a fire bowl down by the lake, perfect for soaking and steaming as the stars come out. Owners Nicki and John, the designer and award-winning cabinet maker who have conjured Vivianna from locally sourced materials, have thought of everything you could possibly need to unwind and enjoy the space. There are thick robes and slippers, underfloor heating, handmade soaps and even binoculars for spotting the resident heron and other abundant wildlife. You can wander their four acres of land, crossing bridges and stepping stones over the rushing streams and watching for kingfishers and roe deer as the buzzards wheel above you. There’s plenty to explore in the local area, but nightfall will almost certainly find you back at Vivianna, firing up the hot tub and soaking up the magic of the fairytale place they’ve created.

Closes Farm Cottage

- 3 nights Min Stay
£1,285.00 per week
The cottage was built in the 18th century from the distinctive golden stone of the Cotswolds and boasts beautiful beamed ceilings in every room. The accommodation is deceptively spacious with three charming bedrooms, two bathrooms plus a downstairs cloakroom, a well-equipped kitchen and spacious sitting room opening into the dining room. Each room is packed with character, elegantly decorated and very well appointed. Closes Farm Cottage is a haven of comfort and fine views, ideal for a family of up to six people; a group of couples; but equally suited to a romantic escape for two. The garden is a delightful extra room in the summer for relaxing, dining, playing or making the most of the sunshine in the colder months. Safely walled and gated, you can relax while the children and dogs enjoy this pretty space. Fire up the barbecue on a summer's day (there's a fabulous butcher in the village) and make the most of this enviable location. The position of the property is absolutely perfect for making the most of a holiday in the Cotswolds. Although the cottage is peacefully situated on the Upper High Street, you are just a short stroll away from the main High Street with its wealth of independent shops, art galleries, great pubs and excellent restaurants. Younger guests (and parents) will adore the superb children's playground with exciting play equipment for all ages. Alternatively, you can put on your walking boots and be on the Cotswold Way or exploring the beautiful countryside all around you in a heart beat. With off street parking for two cars (a rare commodity in Broadway), you can park up on arrival and not need to use the car again until it's time to head home.
