Treetop Hideaways

0

£250.00 up to £355.00 per night

On the edge of 17-acres of mature woodland in the Lincolnshire village of Woodhall Spa, you will find Treetop Hideaways. Guests will have their choice of six equally charming and beautifully constructed lakeside treehouses: Squirrel's Drey, Robin's Nest, Pheasant's Roost, Cuckoo's Nest, Kingfisher's Perch, and Owl Box. Each has been expertly constructed to the highest of standards, and with their elevated terraces, they offer wondrous views of the private lakes. And should you wish, there is even a private moored boat per treehouse. Sleeping a max of two guests, these beautiful bolt holes are ideal for couples who enjoy the great outdoors and all the serenity that comes with it. While each exhibits its own distinct features, the structure and contents of the treehouses are largely the same. The main area is open planned and sits beneath an impressive, vaulted timber framed ceiling. The modern fitted kitchen comes very well equipped. complete with kitchen sink, handcrafted oak shelves, oak worktops, bar stools, and a table in front of a large picture window. There is a king-size handmade bed with ambient lighting, while two armchairs sit alongside the other picture window and look out onto the terrace. Step through the patio doors and onto the elevated terrace where you will find two lounge chairs overlooking the private lake. There is also a luxury bathtub around the side of the terrace which offers an ideal place to enjoy a relaxing soak in the evening. Behind the main living area are the bathrooms. Each contains double washbasin units, a walk-in shower, a WC, and a heated towel rail. At the foot of the treehouses' steps are a couple of tree-mounted hammocks, along with a firepit/grill with log seating. This is a fab spot to chill with a book, whilst staying toasty long into the evening. Woodhall Spa is a former spa town and still retains much of its Victorian character. In recent years it has once again become popular as a tourist destination with its beautiful woodlands, heritage buildings, and famous Hotchkin golf course all being major attractions for visitors. In the centre of the village's pinewoods is The Kinema in the Woods, the UK's only cinema to employ back projection. The surrounding countryside is also replete with lots of gorgeous walking and cycling routes. Should you wish to venture a little further out, the city of Lincoln - famed for its cathedral and medieval castle - is 20-miles to the west.
